There was a great deal of interest from teachers of English, who were visiting the exhibition from abroad and who teach English in their own countries. They thought it was a great resource to bring real English children into the classroom. However, a number of English schools also said that they could see its relevance for their EAL pupils arriving in the country without any English. Some schools said they use the site to allow EAL children who have been in the country for a while to support children who have just arrived in England to learn simple, basic words and phrases.
